Gentle Teaching

Culture of hope

ded

Gentle teaching begins with developing a culture of hope. This culture of hope is a culture in which we all would like to live in. In this culture we don’t interact with each other based on past experiences and feelings we have for each other based on these experiences, but we interact with each other based on the hope we have for a better future for all of us.

This culture of hope can be identified by an number of aspects:
- We look at the person as another you
- We help the person when he needs our help
- We don’t ignore the feelings of the person
- We are creating a sense of belonging together
- The special friend feels the ‘at home’
- We take good care for the environment
- We use rituals to enhance the culture of hope

Without this culture of hope, trying to develop companionship would be like sawing seed in the desert.
